Tool for Setting Up Test Pits
The String-a-Pit is available in two sizes. The long version sets up test pits that measure 1m × 1m and 2m × 2m. For test pits 0.5m × 0.5m and 0.5m², there is a shorter version. The various size options are marked with colored beads. Both versions are designed to self-secure with an attached rubber band. The String-a-Pit then fits easily in the palm of the hand.
With its easy-to-follow instructions, the String-a-Pit eliminates the need for tape measures and makes setting up test pits effortless. This tool is excellent for students learning how to work in the field.
