Hardwood Excavation Tool

  1. Ideal for excavation and restoration.

  2. Won’t scratch sensitive artifacts and objects (e.g., ceramic vessels).

  3. Pointed and spatula-shaped ends increase versatility.

  4. Can be held comfortably for long periods of time.

  5. Made from rosul, an extremely durable hardwood from sustainably managed forests.

  6. Can be re-sharpened with fine sandpaper.

Each tool measures 22 cm (8.5”) and has a diameter of 7 mm (1/4”). For comparison: a pen is as thick but about one-third shorter. The tool’s spatula end is 10 mm (3/8”) wide.
